It was alleged in the published news that SASA did not pay any taxes for 2023. Within the scope of its activities for 2023, SASA paid to our state 1,469,937,710 Turkish Liras, which is 58,760,574.34 USD in foreign currency, as tax, and 475,879,647.67 Turkish Liras, which is 20,296,622.46 USD in foreign currency, to the Social Security Institution, and is proud to invest in the future of our country with the taxes it pays every year.

SASA, Turkey's banner-bearing organization in the petrochemical sector, is one of the largest institutions in our republic and is honored to produce the inputs that our economy needs. SASA has made a strategic industrial investment of 3,5 billion US Dollars, including ongoing ones, in the last five years, provided a significant contribution to the reduction of our foreign trade deficit, and aimed to bolster the power of our country by providing employment to more than ten thousand people and added value to our economy.

Although SASA has contributed to our country to such an extent, the relevant news and the statements mentioning that SASA does not pay taxes have caused false information to be presented to society.

As a result, it is respectfully announced to the public that the news about SASA, which we believe is critically important for our country's economy, contains incorrect information, that the news that SASA does not pay taxes is unfounded, and that such articles must be disregarded.
